DRD Appreciates e-Musrenbang System

Jakarta Research Council (DRD) appreciates Jakarta Provincial Government electronic system in development planning discussion (e-musrenbang) in these recent years.

It is a good innovation. Now the process can be monitored. It also makes faster process at RW level

City DRD Commission II in Economy Dept.'s member, Mudaris Ali Masyhud said, e-musrenbang system is one of Jakarta Government innovations. It gives a good effects since the process becomes faster.

"It is a good innovation. Now the process can be monitored. It also makes faster process at RW level," he mentioned, Friday (1/12).

Two Weeks, E-Musrenbang at RW Level in E. Jakarta Completed

According to him, system's template helps people in proposing programs. Previously, there were many proposed programs with variety types and budgets.

"But template makes it easier. For example, each RW that proposes for road repair will get the same budget," he added.

But, he considers that system still needs improvement. Thus residents proposed program could be well accommodated since some people are not used to technology.

"Enhanced and easier system is still needed. Thus people who haven't used to technology can still access it," he stated.
